Asphalt pavement surface is on the top of a pavement. It directly bears the repeated action of the vertical force, horizontal force and vacuum suction force generated by the traffic load. It is also greatly impacted by rainfall and temperature change. It is the most important layer that directly refelcets the performance of a pavement.
If it can not take scientific and proper road maintenance and repair measures timely, the road will be damaged earlier and have to be rehabilitated or reconstructed before the end of its designed service life.
